Product Brief
The Metal Coarse Filter is an air filtration product made by laminating a metal support mesh onto one or both sides of the coarse filter media (non-woven / synthetic fiber). It combines the high dust-holding capacity and low air resistance of the non-woven filter media with the high strength and impact-resistant support protection of the metal mesh. It typically serves as the first-stage filtration unit of equipment such as air purifiers, fresh-air systems, and household air conditioners, and is mainly used to capture particulate dust, hair, pollen, and various suspended matter of 5 microns and above in the air. Unlike an all-metal coarse filter, the Metal Coarse Filter uses the coarse filter media as its core filtration layer, with the metal mesh serving only as a support and protection layer rather than the primary filtration media. This design preserves the excellent filtration performance of the fiber filter media while overcoming the drawback of media-only filters—their tendency to deform and break under high airflow.
